“If you can’t let go of the past, the mistakes you’ve made will eat you alive.”
Reading this King novel makes you look forward to seeing how the TV translation will pull off the often subtle eeriness as well as harsh brutality of the crimes committed. And as usual, the twists in the end are what make this book iconic to King as he moves the narrative into the otherworldly... sort-of.
