it was ok
bookshelves: nonfiction, tracyfood

In case you've always secretly suspected that nutritionists see everyone as a bunch of idiots who don't think at all about what or how much they're eating, this book will do nothing to reassure you otherwise, by telling you a bunch of stories about how Wansink and his students and colleagues actually tricked people, over and over again, into proving that hypothesis. At least it's kinder than The End of Overeating: Taking Control of the Insatiable American Appetite, or at least considerably less angsty and judgmental (not that it has to stretch far to achieve that but hey, I'll take what I can get).
