Burned is a good book and if you liked the Crank series or any other book from Ellen Hopkins then you will find this book extremely good. This book is about a young girl in her teenage years and she comes from a very religious family...yet abusive. The book is about how she changes completely because she had a dream, but not just any she had a sex dream. She starts to question herself if it is normal for to have those kinds of dreams and wondering if God is trying to tell her something. She's embarrassed to ask for any help but she goes to her pastor and she doesn't help her at all, instead he ignores her question and doesn't know how to answer it. She doesn’t know what is happening to her, she would start acting different around guys and get a weird feeling when even she would be attracted to one. To get to the ending of the book, her dad catches her with a guy and also gets suspended from school so she is forced to move in with her aunt in Nevada. But out there is no different, she also meets a handsome guy who isn’t so sure about what she wants or if he is interested in her. She starts to get into trouble more than she has ever.
