really liked it
bookshelves: persuassion, letters, animals, pets, adjectives

This is another book that is good to talk about persuasion. A little boy really wants a pet iguana and he tries to convince his mom to get him one. They write letters back and forth to one another explain why he should and should not get an iguana. It is very cute! It is also good to talk about different techniques authors use to write since this is a book and the story takes place through letters.
