This story is best for the younger. While presented as being a mystery, there is nothing that might scare of worry a younger child. Harriet finds out, when she's nine, that her absent minded father forgot to tell her that he has five sisters. Harriet decides that it is of the utmost importance that she find these heretofore unmentioned aunts. The father character is slightly odd and it was hard for me to connect with him or any of the other characters.
