it was ok

This book surprised me. It was a very slow start but it got so interesting a real page turner.
Without revealing the story line or giving you a spoiler, three quarters of the way through this book I skimmed a bit and put it down and closed it.

The story line was surprising, nothing I expected and nothing I was interested in.

If anyone wants a hint as to why just send me a private message. Not being interested is personal and because I am Jewish.

Can't say more without revealing the story.

Let me know what you guys think of this book.

Barbara Hi Paula,
Thanks for your post about my new novel, Letter From A Stranger. Your comments about the book have me somewhat confused. You mention that you found the book to be a "real page turner," yet you were unable to finish reading it. Why is this so? And why would your Jewish upbringing cause you to stop reading the end of the story. Given how the story unfolds with the disclosure of Garbi's memoir from
Nazi Germany, I would have expected your interest to only increase to the finish line.
In any event, I thank you for your post and for reading most of my latest book.
