it was amazing

One of a five volume series (Wilderness Empire) by an author who knows what he is writing about in a very readable docudrama style. This book is real history, using quotes and dramatically creative unique style, The series covers The forgotten segments of American History that were everyday events for real people that have passed into American Mythos, Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton etc, It covers the mid 18th to early 19th century story of the time when the Frontier was only a few days walk from the cities of the east coast, to the expansion to the Mississippi.

The East was even wilder than the old West, but no one has written a readable history of it, until now.
