it was amazing
bookshelves: read-aloud-faves-age-5-and-up

Whew. This was an ambitious read-aloud for O and me. He really liked it though, and so did I. Shades of the Harry Potter series insomuch as it's a group of different children who band together (actually, they are chosen for a mission through a series of tests) to thwart a bad guy at school. Be forewarned that there is some mild violence and scary scenes, so if your child is sensitive to that, it might be best left for when they're older.

Stephanie Thanks for this...I have this on my to-read-with-Ryan list but think I'll wait a year...he's not big on scary right now. A year ago he was but recently he's been much more sensitive to it. Glad you liked it though...sounds like one we'll enjoy too, eventually!
