it was amazing
bookshelves: general-fiction, fairy-tales, ya-and-new-adult

An engaging, imaginative YA novel recommended for readers who like supernatural and fairy tale lore with humor in a contemporary setting.

The first book in the College Fae series, Never Date a Siren introduces a group of unique and relatable characters in the fully realized magical world of Bewachterberg where humans and fae interact.

The story features Brigit, the dryad princess and Logan, an American student. They come together to take on a challenge and discover who they are along the way. Additional characters like the snarky and smart Jib enhance the story’s plot and round out the magical elements of this world.

Note: As a beta reader for this book during its development, I looked forward to reading each chapter. The author did a great job balancing the elements of creating a story and sustaining reader interest.
