50.0% "This biography is unreal. The experiences she brings to the reader are incredible. She was there when so much happened in world history. She was in Madrid during Spain's Civil War; she drank with Hemingway; she met with Stalin. I had no idea how much this woman did in her life-time. I am glad I can live through her experiences."

Gregory Rothbard One story of her in Spain during the bombardment of the Telephone office, the same office that was bombed and described by George Orwell in Homage to Catalina, Hemingway said she had "Cajones". Had she been a writer who threatened Hemingway he would have called her a nastier word.
