really liked it
bookshelves: arc

Four uber talented students navigate their way through their Senior year at New York City High School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carter is/was a childhood superstar that just wants to be a regular guy, Sophie is determined to get into the spotlight at any costs, Ethan is quiet and lets personal matters effect his music, and Emme is in need of some self esteem, but Sophie is busy snuffing it out. I loved this book with four points of view. It allows each character to air their flaws and to let them shine. Their lives intertwine and things get super complicated fast. I found myself hating and then loving characters and wanting one of them to fall of a cliff. #wink The story centered around music (and NYC) is sure to appeal to many teen readers. Fast read full of major drama, unexpected kisses, and backstabbing. It's like Glee in book version, but better and without cheerleaders and football. Must read!
