The third and final book in the Study trilogy is as satisfying and wonderful as the rest. Mere weeks after the close of the last book, Yelena is trying to hunt down the killer she captured in book 2. When she finds him however, she uncovers a deeper plot that threatens all of Sitia and Ixia.

The twists and turns are rapid and well done and each piece of the story lays the foundation for later events. It's very satisfying to see all the threads comes together and realize the significance of earlier events. The dialogue, pacing and action are wonderful as with the other two books and the characters are consistent and well done. The ending, while not unexpected, is satisfying and perfect.
