really liked it

In some ways this is Bosch/Connelly at their best. Bosch is no longer the dangerous outsider but he is still an outsider. Standing up for the truth and those that have been forsaken. The problem is that his well written flaws are replaced by typical story telling. In the past, Harry's self destructive nature added depth to the story. In this book, we find a Harry that is much healthier mentally, and at the same time doubts himself. In the end, Harry is simply not as exciting but the mission, and the writing, are some of Connelly's best.
