it was amazing
bookshelves: bloodhound-books, crime, favorites, mystery

This is the fourth and final Kat and Mouse story and it was a great read.
A missing (some think dead,) father and son and a double murder at Chatsworth House, give both Connection and the police plenty of work to do. As always they manage to work around each other and help each other where they can.

The cases involved were really interesting and brought to light the issue of domestic violence against men. Anita covered the topic very well and with sensitivity. I was hoping that the cases wouldn't end the way they did, but with everything that happened, and what was said, I guess it was inevitable.

I shall miss this series, especially Mouses's Nan, Doris - what a personality she is!
An excellent end to a great series.
