really liked it

This was my first graphic novel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was surprised by the depth of the story.

Based on my interpretation, humans wanted to conquer death. The captured Death for 70 years without even realizing that death could not be captured. Instead of Death, the mortals only captured Dream (Sandman) thinking that he represents Death. Taken literally death could not be captured for its part of the dream.

Anyway, in the absence of Dream(Sandman), the real world gets weakened. People lose their dreams. Luckily, Sadman frees himself and fights the demons that took his powers from him. In the end, he meets with Death and finds solace in his ability to dream again.

I will continue reading the serious. Curious where it leads...
