Bryson is Fairfield Academy's golden boy: wealthy, captain of the championship soccer team, and drop dead gorgeous. Also, he claims not to believe in high school relationships. He gets a little bit of teasing from his friends that maybe he just can't get a date and that's why he's so down on love. He counters with saying he could have a different girlfriend every week...and so the contest begins. He agrees to be the best boyfriend ever to the first person to ask him out each Monday. Kai is gay and very much in the closet. Through a series of interesting events, Kai ends up asking Bryson out and he agrees! The plot starts out quickly and their relationship develops fast. They try to keep their romance a secret, but of course word gets out. Told completely from Kai's point of view, there is a little tension when they are outed, but it's resolved efficiently because the whole story is completed in just over a week.
