it was amazing
bookshelves: japanese-lit, read-in-2019

No question this is as good as everyone keeps saying. Absolutely beautifully simply written, incredibly unique especially on such an over used idea like time travel, absolutely tragic but also incredibly happy and dealing with some tough subjects almost everyone can empathize with, honestly one of the few books I can call INSPIRING.

Absolutely loved this wow

Conwild Yep, that pretty much sums this up.

A nice, simple and concise review that says everything. Much like the book!

message 2: by Karen (new)

Karen What am I missing? I'm 30 pages in and finding it tedious. Only plodding on because it's a book club read.

Fred Kingham Love short reviews like yours rather than reviews more or less retelling the story, I just don't see the point! btw what a great book, I'll leave it on my shelves about a year then read it again, definately!

Miriam White I liked the book but I did not like how it was written.
I really enjoyed the last chapter.

Sophie Bee I certainly want to read the next one!

Rula Zein-Iddin I agree! I fell in love with the characters too.
