I dont know. I liked the premise. And the writing style, but was still left a little "huh?" at the end. I thought more of the storylines could have been fleshed out. The dad. Th grandpa. I don't get teh grandmother thing at all and the relevance. and then there is the Mom, Joseph and Rose who all were pretty major characters and all got super shortchanged. We dont know any of their motivations. I would probably read another book by Bender, and may even recommend this one to some of my more literary friends, but only so that I can have someone to discuss it with.
