Despite being raised in a Christian family and attending church for as long as I can remember, I've never felt like I had a clear understanding of the Lord's heart for prayer, nor have I understood how to do it effectively and in a way that pleases God's heart. This book radically changed my perspective on prayer and gave me easy tools for a dynamic prayer life, as well. Although I am not a parent and can't fully comprehend many of the analogies that the author gave, I found great peace in his resolve that prayer was/is the best form of parenting. This book challenged me, encouraged me and drew me closer to the heart of My Creator.
