really liked it

Alex Hawke is certainly top five good guy / bad a$# in the thriller genra.
Bell has developed his feel for Hawke to the point of page turning suspense.
I find myself picking up the pace in chapters of the story w/o his presence.
Is this because the writing trends down or is Hawke's story just that intense.
Either way, I noticed it for the first time in Warlord.
