really liked it

This book with its action and suspense mixed with religion makes an epic story.
The world’s first murder described in the Bible with Cain and Abel creates a world-wide chase for the book of lies and the weapon that Cain killed Abel with by a former Nazi Germany group called the Thules for the book of lies which also has the secret to immortality. Somehow Cal Harper and his father meet up after 19 years of being separated because Cal’s father killed Cal’s mother with manslaughter charges. They get caught in the chase for the book of lies to prove Cal and his Dad’s innocence about killing Timothy, Cal’s former partner at work. Ellis (a Thule member) killed Timothy but they need to chase the book to prove their innocence to the police or Ellis’ worth to the Thules. I enjoyed this book because of the mysterious cases and how it always relates back to the Bible and the story of Superman. This book has great storylines and they change so you have multiple stories at once. It raise the suspense of the story and adds so much to the story.

I think that the author helped the reader get a great understanding of what she was trying to say though the characters. The well developed characters in a way relax you and get you refocused on the plot and you also come to like all of the characters there wasn’t many characters not to like. Overall the book was very well written and very enjoyable because of its mysteries, action, and suspense.
