really liked it

This novel is many types of novels--satire, Occupy novel, gay experience novel, legal/cyber thriller, new adult, Henry James tribute, a novel about writing--but it all coheres and ends up in a place that if not quite science fiction is at least William Gibson Blue Ant trilogy adjacent. In other words, it's about state (and private contractor) surveillance but approaches that topic in a variety of different yet apt ways.
