How dreadful! Apparently a couple of years of solitude is all you need to recover from being brutally gang-raped amidst the bodies of your slaughtered family. A few years of celibacy and the sudden arrival of a few attractive men will make any woman grateful/desperate for cock. For all that the SEALs are supposed to be modern men, they display levels of chauvinism that rival those of the culture they've ventured into that's supposedly a 1000 years less sophisticated. He's over-bearing and sex-crazed and she's a weak-willed ninny who risks pregnancy and disease from a man who keeps telling her he's leaving. She keeps a safe haven operational under those conditions for ages but can't say no to one guy and his crude come-ons? Come on!

I'm halfway through and don't plan to finish it. Off to find a romance novel with a heroine who remembers who she is even when confronted with 8 inches and a six-pack.
