A bleak tale of a protagonist merely referred to as "the man." His job is the epitome of "dead end", he doesn't make much money, and his family doesn't respect him. Some chapters make no mention of "the man" at all, but instead paint a picture of Ghanian lifestyle and environment. It takes a long time for a plot to emerge and there is an inordinate amount of talk about feces/shit/farting, however some sections are lovely in a sad way.
