This was an interesting, and very confronting, read. I know a fair amount (academically) about rendition, assassination, and surveillance (part of my field of study), but I've never read about it from the perspective of a human rights defender; it was a rather brutal read in certain sections. Worth having a look at, but be aware there is nothing happy about it!
