Charity's Reviews > Chime
This novel moves quickly and Briony's voice is interesting and as confusing as one would imagine her voice to be (i.e., confusing in a good, narratively consistent way). The main characters are well developed; I love Rose. Some pieces of the story are kind of silly and overly YA (e.g., self-guided cognitive-behavioral therapy), and I knocked off a star for two dropped characters and two rape-y scenes. Overall, though, this is a fun one that I might recommend to my teenager.
