Catch Me (Detective D.D. Warren, #6)
by
by

Gardner hits a home run with this DD Warren novel - possibly the last DD Warren. Charlie Grant is positive that she is going to die on January 21st so she asks DD Warren to investigate her murder. DD is used to waiting until there is a body but there is a whole lot about this case that doesn't add up. Gardner brings in many characters who have graced previous books, including Quincy and daughter, the Dillons and others and it was satisfying to see those characters so happy. DD's personal life is not as out of control as she would have imagined with a newborn in the house but with her parents coming for a visit, well, old instincts die hard and DD has to decide whether they will help her solve this case or only revert her to childhood.
