A retelling of Homer’s The Odyssey from the POV of Odysseus’ wife, Penelope. A fast, easy read written in a modern voice with a fair bit of cheek and a few winks at the audience/reader. Personally, I would've liked more insight into the maids.

Recommended if you enjoy modern retellings like The Gospel of Loki.

(After I finished The Penelopiad, I read sections 160 and 171 of The Greek Myths as mentioned in Atwood's Notes.)
