This made me want to rewatch Stranger Things S2 which I absolutely do not have time to do right now, so thank you, little book. :') I did like it! Books adapted from shows/movies usually fail in depth, but this had some terrific things to say about women and strength (like Max realising being a tough tomboy wasn't the only way to be a fierce woman) and the writing was fantastic. The plot was best when it wasn't from scenes in the show. Otherwise it just glossed over them? Very little dialogue. Mostly Max just recounting events. I did love her perspective though 🤗 Agh I just love Max!

(I always wonder who these books are for though? It read very MG, which is fine, but I feel like most people who watch/love the show are older than that?)
