Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3)

Mockingjay was my least favorite book in the series. It started with a lot of potential, but Katniss disappointed me. I know she's still a kid, but considering everything she has been through, I kept hoping she'd step up and become the leader she had the potential to be. Or even just to make a decision about something instead of being so wishy washy. I'm big on character growth and there seemed to be little of that with Katniss. And the climax, which I won't give away, made me want to hurl my Kindle across the room. Even with the Gale vs Peeta question, which seemed obvious about halfway through the book, Katniss never actually makes a decision. She lets things happen to her. That was the biggest letdown for me. I did enjoy the bittersweet ending, though.
