could not stand this book. i abandoned it midway, which is saying a lot because it was one of three books in the hospital that were not twilight knockoffs or guidepost magazines. (see my review of Firefly Lane for more on the lack of reading material.) i was desperate for something to read, and i hated this book SO HARD i abandoned it. i don't remember if it was the part with god making collard greens or whatever the heck he/she was serving, or when mack and jesus went into laughing hysterics over something that wasn't even funny.

forced, badly written, completely unrelatable, and seriously? what the heck. my brain hurts even thinking about this book again.

not recommended. ever. it's only getting one star because i can't do half stars. or quarter stars. you get my point.
