Okay, this started out slow but gained speed and I couldn’t put it down.

However, I felt the book was far too crowded with characters. I never really managed to remember who was related/married/child of who. There were just too many.

The writing overall is good but some of it fell shy of being believable. As an ARC there was much proofreading that needed doing.

What ultimately took away those last two stars was the finale, epilogue, 9 years before chapter, and the 20 years after chapter. I knew The Who pretty much from the get go, I was wrong on the why but only because I forgot he’s a liar, and I didn’t figure out the how. The alternate story plot I suspected early on and the way they accidentally revealed themself was trite. All that planning to make that mistake, no way is that believable..

This author has lots of potential I know this from the large amount that kept me captivated. I hope Bremas keeps at it. I know I’m willing to check out a future book.

~ I received an advance review copy for free and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.
