** spoiler alert ** Jewelry store accountant-worker, Angie Lopez, perhaps works a bit too much, and her boss, Sam Singleton, owner of Singleton’s Jewelers, is a touch demanding. Some might even say he’s standoff-ish and a touch cold. He’s a driven businessman and love, especially with Angie, is the last thing on his mind. Meanwhile, Angie is focused on her family.

When Angie and Sam have a minor disagreement, Angie storms out of the store without her purse. Sam chases after her and has a wee accident that leaves him with a bout of memory loss. But who will take care of him? His mom is gone and his aging father, a man he’s grown a bit distant from, can’t take care of him. He doesn’t seem to have any friends either judging by the list of contacts in his phone.

Angie takes up the task with a smidgen of misgiving. After all, she shares a small apartment with her beloved grandma, mom, and her son, Pepe. It’s the holidays, she can’t exactly turn Sam away. He opts to bunk on the couch.

What follows from that point is a heartwarming tale of a mother who discovers a new side to a man she never once considered an option. Along the way Sam manages to mend broken bridges and get in-touch with a side of himself he let get lost a long time ago. I quite enjoyed An Unforgettable Christmas (I swear, it’s not just because I’ve become smitten with a boss and wound up somewhat envious of Angie) and learned a few new things. I admit, as a fan of holidays I never knew about Epiphany (side note: I’m not religious so that could be part of it), but it sounds like a sweet celebration.
