it was amazing
bookshelves: american, audiobook, autobiography, non-fiction, usa

After having watched Citizen 4 twice and the film about his life once and read more or less everything written about him and following him on Twitter, I was STILL enthralled by this book, which kept me awake more than one night. Snowden writes as eloquently as he speaks and thinks and it's a pleasure to follow his slow but steady awakening to what his government is doing to its people.

He was a smart kid who grew up to be a smart, introvert and slightly nerdy teen who then grew up to be a super-clever and conscientious adult. One could only wish that this sequence of events happened more often.

Every person in every government should be force-fed this book. I wear my tinfoil hat proudly!

On a practical level: The narrator is simply excellent. Completely flawless rendition.
