Tehanu (Earthsea Cycle, #4)
Ah, this is what I wanted from an Earthsea book. Tenar is such an interesting character and what Le Guin does with her life after the events of The Tombs of Atuan is exactly right. This is about place, friendship, parenthood, magic, witchery, landscape, animals, community, power, toxic masculinity, fragility, aging, etc. It's everything.
