The Power to Break is the start of The Unbreakable Thread duology. This duology takes place after the conclusion of the A Little Like Destiny trilogy and focuses on the drummer of VAIL, Ethan Fuller. Like Interception and Intermission, this takes place in an over arching story arc, but can definitely be read without having read A Little Like Destiny. I really love that this one centers around a tour as well as two musicians. This is one where the prologue immediately sucked me in. I read and knew I had to read it in one sitting. This is a very emotionally charged story that definitely had me on the edge of my seat at times. This one definitely ends on a cliffhanger so I would have the sequel on hand to read immediately. I think I would give this one a 3.5 to 3.75 if that was possible on sites like Goodreads, but rounded up to a 4 star rating.
