A. I'll be interested to hear what you think about this. Let's talk when you're done.

Emilie Shumway two stars! interesting. I have this at home to read...

Helen Richard i was pretty disappointed in this book. it had a moderately interesting premise, but i felt like if it was trying to be satire it didn't quite make it, and if it was trying to be sincere then it also didn't quite make it there....it seemed to draw on delillo and franzen, but not particularly effectively.

A. I read this when it first came out. It was just about the first novel to deal with the crash of 2008 and the corruption at the core of our society. At that time it resonated pretty strongly. I think Dee is quite a wordsmith and I like his ability to go into the lives of all the members of the family.
