it was amazing

Beautifully written, quick moving, and exciting. A glimpse into a very believable future. We loved this book. A strong but immature young woman with special powers and a kind of second sight is thrust into a battle for two worlds. Her father hid the facts of her birth to save her life. Shame turns to self-acceptance when she finds that the very birth and the gifts that were forbidden and hidden make her the catalyst for good to overcome evil. Wonderful characters that make you want to know more about them. Chillingly real evil characters and political intrigue. A story woven beneath a story. Love steals in but is not allowed to move her from what has to be done. Beautifully written. Would recommend for anyone.
