it was amazing
bookshelves: post-apocalyptic, love, recommended

I've never read a book that more clearly expressed love. It was devastating, it was intense. I was scared the whole time and I was overwhelmed by the love between father and son.
Father and son live in a burned out world, nothing grows, nothing lives except savage groups and individuals living on whatever they can find left over from the old world, and on their fellow humans. There are no animals, no plants, nothing excepts ash, rain and snow. The man and his son wander this landscape heading for the coast. Nothing particular to be expected at the coast but it is a goal to have.
