It was interesting to read how Sadie, our protagonist and all around busybody was fighting PTSD and anxiety in this book. As usual, Josi Kilpack created a host of fun and interesting characters who you can't help but liking. Charlie Pahu and Mr. Olie are two of my favorites. The recipes looks delicious, and I can't wait to try out the macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. The book ends on a more postive note than it starts on, and I was relieved to know that Sadie is able to battle her demons and get back to her old self that we all love. There's also a bonus chapter that you can get if you have one of those bar code readers on your smart phone.
