really liked it
bookshelves: realistic-fiction

While reading this book, all I could say was OMG. How did these children survive? Yet the book is never all that depressing. It is rather uplifting. All the personas are very likable (with one exception which I won't mention so as not to spoil the story.) This memoir also gives a whole new meaning to home schooled. I highly recommend it!
