really liked it

I was expecting a light and fluffy tale about teen angst. This book, although laced with bits of sarcastic humor, was dark and serious. Think Juno without the cute, spunky girl and you’re left with a realistic portrayal of a girl struggling to be seen and heard, rather than silently fading into the obscure masses of cattle roaming the halls of high school and cheering for the football team at homecoming.
