it was amazing

No One's Home is a wonderful combination of history and mystery. It becomes very clear that horrible things happened in the Rawlingswood house. At a leisurely pace, with multiple perspectives, DM Pulley lets them unfold. Five families lived in the Rawlingswood house in Ohio. The most recent, the Spielmans, are escaping trouble and heartbreak that they'd encountered in Boston. Teenage son Hunter, bored and at loose ends during the summer he moves in, makes it his business to find out what all the weird noises, movements, and missing objects his family encounters are about.

This is a good, solid, classic haunted house story. Like the best haunted house stories, it's really about families, and about problems that are more solid than ghosts. If you enjoyed the Haunting of Hill House, you're going to love No One's Home.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
