If you thought you enjoyed "The Dark Knight", then this comic will give you much more entertainment than the movie. The movie itself was inspired by this comic and some of the scenes and lines are directly adapted.

Reading this novel was like watching a Batman movie. Gotham City's growing crime rate and the strain it puts in Jim Gordon and Harvey Dent's personal life is beautifully depicted.

The illustrations were out of the world!! Reading this book is an experience never felt before. This book has got another dimension to it. I dont know if its those pictures or the storyline, but there is a sinister feeling looming above our heads.

The book basically starts with Batman, Gordon and Dent wanting to bring Falcone to justice, but they are confronted with a new killer called "Holiday" who repeatedly targets Falcone's family, sparking a mafia war where all the Arkham Asylum loonies join in and make life all the more tough for the trio.

Don't expect too much presence from "The Joker". All villains make an appearance and they are creepy in their own way.

Another aspect I loved was the depiction of Mother's Day with Bruce Wayne and Father's Day with Sofia Gigante and Falcone! Each holiday had some connection with the killing making it an exciting read. The Calendar Man reminded me of Anthony Hopkins in the Silence of the Lambs! Dead spooky.

The first couple of pages have Batman's oath, written step by step, building up the reader's enthusiasm.

Fan of Jeff Loeb and Tim Sale!! Awesome work! Loved it!
