it was amazing
bookshelves: literary-sf-fantasy

One of my favorite books. Ever.
Don't be put off by the title if you're not a sci-fi lover. The premise involves time travel, yes, but the book is, at its heart, a powerful, emotional, and utterly true love story. It deals with questions of free will, what it means to love someone, what it means to give yourself to another person completely and fully despite all obstacles, and what, in the end, our lives come down to. I've read this book three times and every single time I collapse in tears by the end, and every single time I am disappointed that I've reached the last page. I wish I could go on reading it forever.
