Kat, Mouse and Doris are back, and looking into a new case. This trio is fantastic. Their personalities compliment each other and each brings something special to their growing private investigation business.

Continuing from where book 1 ended, Leon Rowe is on the run, but keeping a watchful eye on Kat. She, Mouse and Doris become very busy when their new case gets complicated and DI Marsden re-enters their lives needing their help.

Waller has created something brilliant in this series of books. A great cast of characters in an interesting location, and a growing web of lies, cover-ups and crime.

A garden path plays an important role in this story, and Waller certainly led me down a few before reaching the end of the story! If you've not started this series yet, what are you waiting for?
