it was amazing
bookshelves: 2012-read, mysteries

I adore Brooklyn and her family and friends. And more than that, since I am an avid book lover, I really enjoy hearing how she is going to restore these precious books. In this book, the main restoration piece was Beauty and the enchanting favorite of mine. The mystery involves the death of the bookseller of this particular piece, one which was stolen from a friend of hers shortly after the death of the friend's fiance, Max. While trying to discover why the bookseller was killed and how the book came into his possession, Brooklyn also gets involved in solving the mystery of Max's death. I love the fact that the ending was almost a total surprise...I am normally good at figuring out the villains. Looking forward to Brooklyn's next adventure.
