it was ok

I found this book boring and filled with either unlikeable (Hemingway) or nanny-pamby (the Paris wife) characters. I suppose it was a good narrative of the bohemian lifestyle of the 1920's but that I'd about the only thing I got out of it, other than that Alice B. Tokeless was a real person and the paramour of Gertrude Stein. I was not inspired to read Hemingway or visit Paris. Unless you are really into the great writers of that time period I'd say skip it.

Gail I have to admire you for sticking with it. After about 20%, I just had to read something else. I think John will make it to the end.
