it was amazing
Read from March 15 to 16, 2012

D'Agostino wrote an astute contemporary story. I enjoyed the dialogue, the character struggles, and the tension of uncertainty throughout the book.

The father, though a tragic character, was one of the funniest in the novel. Even the pet dog had some comedy woven around its hyper behavior.

I didn't foresee the ultimate tragedy of the story, which was a great plot twist, and made for a climactic ending to a tale many Americans may resonate with in today's dire economy.
