it was amazing

Not a Fan, by Kyle Idleman, does not pull any punches. He clearly communicates the call of Jesus to follow him with everything and doesn't back down from the seriousness of it. There are a lot of people that are simply 'fans' of Jesus, but Jesus isn't looking for fans, he is looking for followers. I deeply appreciated the boldness of this book, how focused it was on Jesus and how it made the reader feel uncomfortable. This book isn't for the reader looking to feel comfortable about their relationship with Jesus. Idleman puts his finger on the areas in our life that we are holding back from Jesus. For that reason, I hated this book. This is a good thing. Anything that our flesh hates needs to be listened to. I highly recommend Not a Fan.
